| Kent E. Durbin, CPAg, CCA, CEO/Owner with TSM® Services, Inc. since 1984. Kent grew up in central Illinois. His father Paul E. Durbin, who held a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL, started a fertilizer company in 1952 in Farmer City, IL. The fertilizer plant contained its own soil laboratory which Kent worked in as a teenager. Including these years, Kent has had over 50 years of experience in the soil fertility arena. Kent played football during high school and also during the two years he was at Illinois State University, Normal, IL. After he was injured in football he transferred to the University of Illinois where he obtained a B.S. in Agriculture and later his M.S. He taught Vocational Agriculture and General Science in high school for four years. He was then an agronomist for 20 years with a large independent fertilizer company which had several satellite retail plants and a large wholesale division. In the early 1970's he developed a soil fertility program which was first put into the field in 1978. Kent started TSM® Services, Inc. in 1984 using the basics of the program he developed in the 1970's. He continually improves and upgrades the program to keep it current. Kent continues the learning process by attending seminars and he earned his CCA in 1994. He is active in the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association and other associations in most of the states TSM® operates in. Larry Schonert, CCA President, Agronomist, Account Executive with TSM® Services, Inc. since 1991 Larry is originally from Olney, Illinois where he was raised on a grain farm. He graduated from Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel in 1979 with an Associate's in Applied Science, a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Illinois in 1981 in Agriculture Education, and a Master's Degree in 1983 in Vocational Education, also at SIU-Carbondale. He obtained his Certified Crop Advisor in 1994. Larry was an agriculture instructor, FFA Advisor, and football coach for nine years. He taught for four years at Jamaica High School, Sidell, Illinois and for five years at East Richland High School, Olney, Illinois. He had internships in 1980-1982 with Rich-Law Service Co., and in 1987 with TSM® Services, Inc., Catlin, Illinois. | Randal L. Simonson, Ph. D., CCA Technical Services Manager, Agronomist, Account Executive with TSM® Services, Inc. since 1993 Randy grew up on a farm in Benson, Minnesota. He came to us from Terra International, Inc. in Sioux City, Iowa. Some of his professional experiences include: His responsibilities with TSM® as Agronomist and Technical Services Manager include developing the TSM® research farm, making recommendations, coordinating all of our test plots, crop scouting, as well as being one of our Account Executives.
